2. HIS WISDOM

The wisdom of God is far above the wisdom of man:

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8,9).

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! (Romans 11:33).

The apostle Paul says:

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: but we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness; but unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God (I Corinthians 1:21-24).

God planned in His great wisdom a way to reconcile His love and mercy with His justice and righteousness.

In the cross of Jesus Christ,

Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other (Psalm 85:10 - NKJ).
