    True Prophet?

Mohammed was not a true prophet. And I say that because, you see, the true prophet must receive a direct call
from God, especially if he will be the founder of a religion. Mohammed didn't receive a direct call from God.

Is Mohammed like Moses?

Q4. Host: Is Mohammed like Moses in anyway? Do they claim there is any prophecy in the Bible? (5:05)

Dr. Labib: Dr. Labib: Mohammed like Moses? Well, you know, the Muslim clerics say that the prophecy in the book of Deuteronomy Chapter 18, and I should go to the book of Deuteronomy here. They say that this prophecy is concerning Mohammed. And I would like to go to the book of Deuteronomy Chapter 18, and I think that it will show exactly the difference between Moses and Mohommed. In the book of Deuteronomy Chapter 18, beginning with verse 15: "The Lord, your God, will raise up for you a Prophet, like me," Moses is saying, "like me, from your midst, from your brethren; him you shall hear."

Well, is Mohammed like Moses? Moses was educated with all the wisdom of Egypt. Mohammed was illiterate. Moses, when he was a child, was about to be killed by Pharaoh, according to the command he gave to throw the infants in the River Nile. Mohammed was not exposed to such a thing. Moses was a miracle worker. Mohammed never performed one miracle. Moses lived a very pure life. Mohammed didn't live a pure life. And we continue to see, Moses appeared with the Lord Jesus Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration. Mohammed died, and that was the end of his life. How could we say that Mohammed is like Moses, a prophet like Moses? Again, the verse saying, "The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me," Moses speaking, "from your midst," that is from the Jewish people. Mohammed was Arab, not Jewish. And then he said, "from your brethren," from his own brethren. You see, when God commands Jewish people, He said, "you take a king from your brethren," that means that king should not be a foreigner. Mohammed was a foreigner. He was not Jewish, he was not from the people of Israel. How could you compare Mohammed with Moses? And then again, him you shall hear. When Mohammed died, he died on the lap of Aysha, as I mentioned, but Moses when he died, God attended his funeral. The Michael angel, the angel Michael attended his funeral. But Mohammed died on the lap of his wife, and that was the end of him.

So the one who is really a prophet like Moses is the Lord Jesus Christ. Moses was to be killed when he was an infant. Jesus was to be killed by Herod when he was an infant. Moses is miracle worker. Jesus is a miracle worker. Moses was educated with all the wisdom of the Egypt. In Jesus, all the fullness of wisdom incarnated. Jesus is a prophet like Moses, and He is from the Israelis, from among you. He is from their brethren. He is from the tribe of Judah, according to Mary. So, the prophet like Moses is Jesus. And when Jesus talked to the Israelis, He said, "Moses wrote about me." He didn't say, "Moses wrote about Mohammed." He said, "Moses wrote about me." And when Peter spoke, after the day of Pentecost, he said to the Israelis that this prophecy of the Deuteronomy 18:15 was fulfilled in the Jesus Christ. To say that Mohammed is a prophet like Moses is out of order. That's it.

This was a good comparison; it supported and showed evidence about each person in order to demonstrate how they were not alike. I think that this really clarifies any questions that I had about the similarities between Moses and Muhammad.

Peace Zeniya, in the name of Yashua-Jesus the Christ. First, I pray you're well. To inspire you in your stance,as a believer. The pinnacle contrast with our muslim friends, finds itself as a strange paradox, and I state this in a way on non-acceptance, but the plan of God, who is Jesus, incarnate in the flesh is clear. 1. Gensis 2:17,clearly let's Adam know that there will be a "PENALTY FOR SIN". 2.This PENALTY was, and is still called DEATH,this is why the blood of someone who does not have the taint of sin, to defeat it, JESUS, (Psalms 2nd chapter). As repentance is required of God, and necessary for us as human's wanting God to draw us TO HIM,we must do so..(Romans 10:-9-10). BUT, our own words of forgiveness, such as,(Forgive me Father, I'm sorry Father,) can not appease the Penalty of sin,(Isaiah 64:6) lays this out CLEARLY..it must come from God, who is Jesus in the Flesh..(John 8:56-59).. i encourage you to not only read these scriptures, but ponder on them also, for clarity.

HI there
i think your are in error there if a person look at the life of Moses and Jesus GOD said to Moses i will raise up a prophet just {LIKE} you... know Moses started a new religion the OLD TESTAMENT, Jesus started a new religion NEW TESTAMENT MOSES save his people of slavery of his people to the promise land, Jesus saved his people from slavery of SIN Moses was raised in Egypt, Jesus was raised in Egypt Moses did make miracles, Jesus made miracles there are many more to show that Moses was speaking of Jesus and not Muhammad

Which Miracles??? If you read and understand it perfectly yourself,Mohamed always tells the people that he is only a prophet and that he performs no miracles. More than once he says that,so now u r contradicting his own words. He's uyur prophet and you don't even know what he said? Please list these miracles and where we can find it in ur book. Thanks

What. no one says that jesus is god. he claims that he is the son of god yes. but not god himself. jesus is the son as the trinity tells, the father the son and the holy spirit.
