Quran's Mistakes

There are many errors in the Quran; many, many, many errors in the Quran. And I say that from a ten-feet view point. For instance, when the Quran said that the earth was flat, that was a mistake.

Sura 61

The Ranks

6. And when Isa son of Marium said: O children of Israel! surely I am the apostle of Allah to you, verifying that which is before me of the Taurat and giving the good news of an Apostle who will come after me, his name being Ahmad, but when he came to them with clear arguments they said: This is clear magic.

1. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Romans

Chapter 8

9. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

COMMENTARY

In the Qur’an:

1. Jesus revealed that the purpose of His coming was to confirm the Law of Moses and to give “…the good news of an Apostle who will come after me, his name being Ahmad…”.

In the Bible:

1. Jesus did promise to send the Comforter after Him, but it was not to be “a man”. The Comforter is the Holy Spirit of God, equal to God and Jesus. He came on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4). Since that time, all Christians are waiting for Jesus to return to Earth, not some other prophet from God.

Revelation, Chapter 22:17:

The Spirit(Holy) and the Bride(Church) say, “Come.”,

Revelation, Chapter 22:20:

“…He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”

SUMMARY

The mission of Jesus, as descrbed in the Qur’an and in the Bible, differ GREATLY. In the Qur’an, Jesus essentially pointed to the next prophet of God who would be greater than Jesus, as it is sensed from this text. But the Biblical Jesus spoke about Himself as a long-ago promised Messiah Who will bring an end to Satan’s reign on Earth and will eliminate the root of sin forever.
