The vowels and their addition

Q5. Host: Could you talk a little bit more about the vowels and when they were added?

Answer

Dr. Labib: Well, when the Koran was written, as I mentioned before, it was written in seven dialects. And if you study the history of the Koran, that they say that the Koran was given to Mohammed in the seventh dialect. Strange, very strange! But then, every country, when they received the dialect, they started to argue about what does that mean. And then Ottoman came, and collected all the versions, wrote his own Koran. Dr. Taha Hussein, in his book 'The Points of the Age of Ignorance', you see, he wrote a book by that title, and he said, when Ottoman burned the seven editions of the Koran, he burned the word of Allah, because of course, anyone could keep these original versions, so we can go back to it, compare, see what's the difference, what's right, what's wrong. Who knows what's the real Koran? This version, that version, that version, you burned them all, and you created your own version, you know. For your own information, some of the Kalives ridiculed the Koran. When one of the Kalives get the Koran, he nailed it in the wall, started to throw arrows at the Koran, and then he said, in Arabic, "When you go to your Lord, in the day of judgement, and he'll ask you of your Koran, who made all these holes in you, tell him Kalif did it to me." Is that respect for the book? And these things are written in the Islamic books. You read it in their history. So to come to the conclusion, no prophecies concerning Mohammed, absolutely not. Any prophecy outside of the Bible, we really ignore totally, because what the book about, from Persia, that will prophecy about Mohammed? Who, who is that man in Persia, or India, who writes it? Why should I care about it?

You see, the Bible is clear, the last message of God is Jesus Christ. He is the last message. And in the whole Bible, God sends the prophets, all through the edges to the Israelis. When the end of the time came, he sent his only son, and that was his last message. And He died on the cross of Calvary, because that was the plan. And that plan was not created when Jesus was born. That plan was created before the foundation of the world. God doesn't make a plan because we fell into sin. He knew that Adam would fall into sin. He knew every detail of our sin. And then the triune God made that plan. And then Jesus said, "I am going to die for my own creation, because I created those people." In the beginning was the word. And the word was with God. And the word was God. All things were made by Him. We are his creations. And because of that, his death was more than enough to redeem everyone who believes in Him. That is very plain in the Bible.
