True Prophet?

Mohammed was not a true prophet. And I say that because, you see, the true prophet must receive a direct call from God, especially if he will be the founder of a religion. Mohammed didn't receive a direct call from God.

Challenging the validity of that spirit

Dr. Labib: Well, if you really try to analyze the situation, you will find out that that spirit was not Gabriel for sure. First of all, because the first declaration was mistaken when he said that man was created from a clot. Secondly, because the declaration of that spirit to Mohammed contradicts many declarations in the Bible, and God would not contradict himself. And finally, if he was really the angel Gabriel he would have said, "Don't be afraid, Mohammed. I am Gabriel, and I am sending you a message." But he didn't. So if you analyze the situation, that spirit was not Gabriel by any means.

28 The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."
